I am not a provider for any form of insurance or EAP (Employee Assistance Program.) I can provide you a form called a Superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. This form will be available after your session and after your payment. It will be mailed directly to you after all the necessary information is put into my computer system. Therefore that form will not be available directly after your session. The services I provide will apply to your out of network benefits. In doing so I will need to provide a diagnosis to justify your utilization of mental health services. (One of the many reasons I no longer accept insurance.) To further know how your insurance will apply these out of network services please contact your insurance company.
For counseling:
I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation for potential new clients. A 45 minute face to face consultation to determine if I am the right therapist for you is $50. A 1 hour psychotherapy session is $100. A 3 hour complex trauma session is $400. (Whether you would benefit from hourly sessions or a 3 hour complex trauma session is best decided in a 45 minute consultation) . I do not provide half hour sessions. Nor do I provide phone counseling or Skype counseling.
For mental health/behavioral health consultations:
A 1 hour mental health/behavioral health consultation for other clinical providers is $75 an hour
For Licensure Supervision:
Supervision sessions are expected to be weekly for 1 hour and I charge $25 per supervision meeting
I accept cash, check, Master Card, Visa, and Discover. I am able to accept most HSA accounts but have yet to have someone pay via their FSA card. I can not accept post dated checks.
I believe in not one more session than is necessary. It is my goal to help you achieve your goals as soon as we can. Most clients average 3-9 months in therapy, this is usually 1 session every other week.
I provide individual sessions only. My clients’ ages range from 13 years and up. When working with teens I do, on occasion, offer a session with one or more parents but I do not provide ongoing family sessions. If this is necessary I will refer out. I do not provide any couples or marital counseling, if this is necessary I will also be referring out.
Cancellations or reschedules must be made by noon the day prior to your appointment to avoid a fee. A client who is 15+ minutes late to their appointment or does not show at all is considered a no-show and will incur a fee. Fees will be directly billed to the credit card that you provide in your treatment forms. These forms will be provided to you via a link and must be completed electronically and sent back at least 24 hours prior to your initial appointment.
The no-show/late cancellation fee schedule is as follows:
Counseling Consultation: $25.00
Individual Therapy session: $50.00
3 Hour Complex Trauma session: $150.00
